Repeat Prescriptions

Patients who need repeat prescriptions can either:

  • Order online
  • Order them at the desk
  • Post them by hand in the post boxes provided
  • Send them in via Royal Mail (please give at least 7 working days for requests sent in by Royal Mail)
  • If you are housebound you can order your prescription over the telephone.

We need a minimum of 2 working days notice to process prescription requests.

The Practice will only accept early medication requests for repeat prescriptions up to 7 days prior to their next issue date. Any requests earlier than 7 days (excluding prior agreements such as early requests due to holidays etc) will be rejected.

If you have been advised by the surgery that your medication review is due please use our online form.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

If you have been advised by the surgery that your medication review is due please use our online form.
